A NEW CHAPTER

    For many, the start of a new year is like the beginning of a new chapter in their life’s story. It’s a new fresh beginning waiting to be written. Some use this opportunity to reflect on their lives, where they have been, where they want to be going. It’s a fantastic opportunity, but it might not be a pleasant experience for some.

    Beginnings are beautiful. Whether it’s the first page of a new chapter, the start of a workout/diet program, the start of a new career, or even the decision to quit bad habit. They may be different from what we are used to, and it may be difficult to adjust, but there is something so liberating and beautiful about new beginnings. A new beginning can mean freeing yourself of what cages you in. Sometimes, a new beginning can also mean saying goodbye to someone, a career, or a home that you don’t ant to leave. We don’t always get to choose when our lives shift gears; all we can do is hang on for the ride. We aren’t always prepared for change, and hardly do we ever want change, but our fear of the unknown holds us back more than anything else in our lives. We must let go of the desire to control the future and move out of our comfort zone. Nothing will ever happen to us if we choose to remain stuck in a world. But if we decide that the future holds much greater things ahead than anything we may leave behind, and we embrace that change – that’s when we will truly notice the beauty of new beginnings. The thing about new beginnings is that they constantly begin and end. They aren't always black and white, so we don't always notice them, but changes occur in our relationships all the time. Because of these little changes, we are able to make the big changes. The changes that begin to have an impact on our lives. We start to notice what truly makes us happy, what truly makes us feel important, and we want more of it.

    A fresh start does not happen overnight. We won’t see a significant change in our lives the next time we wake up, whether we want to make the change right now or not. But if we are determined and continue to push for the change we desire, it will happen.

A Memorable December

     

    Many holidays are associated with faith and religion. Among all of those holidays, I believe Christmas is a Christian tradition wherein we celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ. This is celebrated every 25^th of December. It is the longest festival being celebrated because you can already hear Christmas songs and you can see Christmas decorations as early as September.

    Together with my family we attended the Simbang Gabi, Christmas eve mass, and New year eve mass. Houses are also adorned with decorations, lights Christmas tree and much more. On the 24^th of December, we organized Christmas Party. We invited our friends, relatives, and neighbors. There are a lot of parlor games, raffle draw, and gifts. After opening our presents, we prepared food and we ate together. On the 25^th, we do Christmas caroling together with my cousin. It is a happy and memorable experience because we can do caroling again after two years due to COVID-19 restrictions. After that, I help in decorating and preparing foods for the birthday party of my youngest cousin.

    The Christmas season brightens up the end of the year. It promotes love and harmony among people of various religions. The end of the Christmas season heralds the start of the New Year’s celebration.

INSIGHT ABOUT ESTYUDANTREPRENEUR 2022 CELEBRATION

An entrepreneur is someone who has an idea and works to develop it into a product or service that people will buy, as well as a business to support that effort. An entrepreneur assumes the majority of the risk and initiative for their new business and is frequently regarded as a visionary or innovator. Entrepreneurs boost economic growth by introducing innovative technologies, products, and services. Increased competition from entrepreneurs forces existing business to become more competitive. Entrepreneurs create both short and long-term job opportunities.

In Ilocos Sur National Highschool conducted an activity dubbed as Festival of Talents: Estyudantrepreneur 2022. This is a week-long activity and the theme is “Likas na Talento at Kasanayan: Tugon sa katatagan at pagharap sa hamon ng Bagong Normal”. They presented the different output of TLE students from agri-fishery arts, information and communication technology, home economics, and industrial arts. The students presented and demonstrated the process on how to make the Vigan Longganisa, on how to cook bagnet, Vigan Empanada, special puto and many more. This aims to further develop or hone the skills and talents of the students. This is also as a training ground of the students to represent the division for the Regional Festival of Talents (Technolympics).  The students can also sell their produce output.

 

           This activity is a big help to the students, not only to hone their skills. They can apply what they have learned to their house and also, they can use this as their source of livelihood or income in the future. But even that you are still a student, you can now be an entrepreneur.

GUIDE QUESTIONS

1. I visited all the booth of estyudantrepreneur.
2. I have learned the importance of entrepreneurship, that we can use, this in the future or we can apply those learnings in our home. Even if you're still student, if you're strategic person you can start/ put up your own business. If you were able to adapt those learnings can be a source of of livelihood or income for you and your family.
3. by practicing those learning to make those things possible. To be focus if you have goals in life.
